home is a funny word. with a transcontinental relationship sometimes it is hard to decipher exactly where home is. sometimes i even refer to grand rapids as home, because it is nick's home and i am a part of him (philosophical, i know)
i've come to realise home is wherever your husband is.
right now our home is nothing too special. there's all the essentials (and believe you me, i am grateful) but there is not the charm i long for. there never really is when you're renting, is there?
this by the way wednesday is a catalogue of all the features that i long for in my own home, though really if i can have dark wood floors and white walls, the rest can fill itself in and i would be pretty happy.
