we have just returned from 72 hours on the gold coast. it was glorious.

she is standing on two dolphins! we decided she has the best job in the world.
there is this new slide at wet n wild, have you heard about it? i hadn't either. basically you are upright, standing at the top of the slide, and then the floor drops out from under you and you feel like you're free falling and then the slide kinda kicks in and your stomach drops down from your mouth to its rightful home.
it was awesome.
clearly i snagged the above images from google image search (as that girl is not me). my words just weren't doing it justice.
oh and has anyone told you about castaway bay at seaworld? it's a giant rope, multi-level playground. again, awesome! if only the little kids would get out of the way.
i also had the best gelato experience of my life. not the best gelato of my life (thank you italy) but the best experience. we wandered into a gelato shop and the owner kept plying us with more and more samples, we almost didn't need to buy one at the end. i would go to pick a flavour for my cone and he would just keep feeding me samples. i'm not complaining, it was great. i settled on passionfruit, kit kat and cookies n cream.
yes, three flavours, and yes i felt very sick 20 minutes later. buyer's remorse.
